Urban Innovation Challenge

Smart cities are envisaged to make the life of users comfortable by being technologically well-integrated, resource-sensitive and efficient in their operations. Green buildings are envisioned to be environment-friendly in their making and are directed towards achieving sustainable growth and development. While there can be multiple definitions of Smart Cities & Green Buildings, the Urban Innovation Challenge invites you to explore and define your ideas of what will make Indian cities smart and green.

The Good Governance India Foundation (GGIF) Municipalika 2014 Urban Innovation Challenge (UIC) looks to identify the next generation of innovative solutions to systemic challenges in the urban areas, by under-graduate, post-graduate students and young professionals from different disciplines through the Urban Innovation Challenge.

These participating young innovators will have unique opportunities to present and get feedback on their innovative solutions from the delegates and stakeholders of Municipalika 2014. The event will see the presence of senior government officials of all levels, industry practitioners, academia, think tanks and industry leaders.
